The Trust is committed to the development of excellence in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. It has instituted awards and scholarships in memory of Meera in several schools and colleges and has provided financial grants for upgradation of library, laboratory and computer facilities in a number of institutions in India. In addition, it assists in the promotion of Sanskrit and traditional cultural values.
The Trust has instituted awards and prizes for the encouragement of excellence of Physics in the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and other educational institutions. The Trust organises Public Lectures, Seminars and Meetings in many parts of the country. These have been of interest both to experts and to the lay public.
